Bishop Fred L. Marshall.

Bishop Fred L. Marshall
Free Gospel Churches, Inc.
Headquarters: 1201 Southwest 27th Street, Lawton, Oklahoma, 73505
Bishop Marshall's Home Base of Operations is Columbus, Ohio.

Before becoming a Bishop of the Christ faith, Fred Marshall worked in Corrections in the State of Ohio Department of Youth Services for 25 years. This employment came by way of a special program, “New Careers”, designed to give ex-criminal offenders a “Second Chance” in life.

Prior to Fred's “Second Chance”, most of his teen years were lived as a juvenile delinquent in and out of Ohio juvenile institutions. His adult life was also one of in and out of jails and prison cells in the United States, France and Mexico. However, after suffering two near fatal heart attacks in April of 1971; Fred Marshall, a.k.a. Freddie Diamond, Freddie Chapeau, and Fred Watteez; confessed Christ and his life was revolutionized. Since then and until now this man, a former drug addict, drug dealer, professional gambler, thief, robber and the same one who committed other criminal acts, which he is even ashamed to mention - this man, is now the proud Pastor of the Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, of Columbus, Ohio, and the Presiding Bishop of the Free Gospel Churches, Inc., and the Good N.E.W.S. Holy Convocation with ministries reaching Europe, the West Indies, and other parts of the globe. Bishop Marshall never utters a word of greeting or response to an approach, without first saying, “By the Grace of God”.

If you ever have the occasion to meet him you will know that it is him by the way he says, “By the Grace of God”.

Bishop Marshall is proud to endorse the endeavors of those of us who have come to know that “All things are possible with God, if we only believe”; and that God “is able to do exceeding and abundantly above anything that we ask or think, according to the faith that works within us.
